Famous U.S. pop singer and actress Whitney Houston died at age 48 in Los Angeles on Feb.11. Houston was born in Newark, New Jersey, U.S. in August 1963. She began her musical career at age 11 and became a huge global star in the 1980s and 90s. Houston’s first film role was in “The Bodyguard”, co-starring with the Hollywood actor Kevin Costner, released in 1992. Her song “I Will Always Love You” became the best-selling single by a female artist in music history. The stormy marriage from 1992 to 2007 to singer Bobby Brown made big impact on Houston. Her singing career suffered a disastrous decline because of the three ineffective compulsive drug rehabilitation sessions in 2004, 2005 and 2011.
