I. Purpose and Significance
The China-Japan Scientists High-level Dialogue (“High-level Dialogue”) is a major CAST bilateral exchange event co-sponsored by China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) and Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST). It is intended to facilitate dialogue between the two countries on leveraging sci-tech progress to address social problems, strengthen China-Japan sci-tech and cultural communication, and provide a platform for bilateral cooperation between sci-tech and industrial communities. The 2021 High-level Dialogue, following the theme “Smart Technology for an Aging Society”, will invite renowned Japanese and Chinese experts to discuss topics related to intelligent elderly care, with a view to promoting bilateral technological cooperation and research results translation in relevant fields for both Chinese and Japanese people.

(II) Panel discussion
Parallel sessions will be held in Beijing, Tokyo and at Harvard University. Experts will be invited to give speeches and discuss topics such as intelligent technology and future aging society to explore future partnerships.
(III) Roadshows of Chinese and Japanese technology projects (warm-up) (It is suggested to play the key vision without text twice )
The first “Innovation China” Technology Roadshow was held online and offline in Qingdao in partnership with Qingdao Association for Science and Technology (QDAST) on June 28, 2021. The second “Innovation China” Technology Roadshow -- Sino-Japanese Life and Health Industrial Project (Changzhou) Special & China-Japanese Science and Technology Seminar on Smart Technology for an Aging Society was held on September 16, 2021 in partnership with JST and Changzhou Association for Science and Technology (CZAST). The roadshows highlighted ten excellent Japanese technology projects paired with Chinese industrial parks and investment and financing institutions to deepen technological and economic integration and increase cooperation opportunities between the two sides.
